Wilshire / Feasibility Studies
FEASIBILITY & WORKING MODELS Six feasibility alternatives examine how massing, ground-floor programs, upper-floor plans and unit mixes change on the same Wilshire Boulevard parcel. The October 2023 drawing set is presented alongside a later demonstration of the Zoning Envelope routine developed by Wei-Huan. Drawings were developed as part of a professional project team.

COMPARING THE SIX SCHEMES
The metrics sheet records the issued study alternatives. Reading the schemes together makes the relationship between volume, circulation and residential organization visible.
SCHEME 01
A first massing and plan arrangement establishes the reference for comparison.
SCHEME 02
A second organization tests a different relationship between building depth, open space and unit mix.
SCHEME 03
Another alternative revisits the distribution of building wings and their associated floor plans.
SCHEME 04
The fourth scheme studies a further massing configuration on the same parcel.
SCHEME 05
The fifth scheme continues the comparison of building form and floor organization.
SCHEME 06
The final alternative completes the six-scheme comparison.
ZONING ENVELOPE
The September 2026 interface capture is a retrospective run on the working study model. Issued-sheet areas were refined after that model; tool outputs support designer review within the project’s approval process.
